Tecmic, a technological company dedicated to the development of solutions for smart command, control and management of teams, operations, resources and incidents, announced today that one presentation of MPP project was given at the EAI INTSYS 2020 – 4th EAI International Conference on Intelligent Transport Systems about the Effective Non-invasive Runway Monitoring System Development using Dual Sensor Devices.

The authors of the paper are Rahul Sharma (Tecmic), Fernando Moreira (Tecmic), Gabriel Saragoça (Tecmic) and João Ferreira (ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal.)

The work presented in this paper was carried out in the scope of the project Persistent Runway Monitoring ( MPP-Monitorização Persistente de Pista) SI IDT code of project is 039876, co-financed by CENTRO 2020, Portugal 2020—Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization (POCI), European Union’s ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).

The Permanent Runway Monitoring Project addresses an innovative solution on the monitoring and analysis of the airport runway status and operations made, without compromising airport operations.

The MPP project partners are ANA– Portuguese Airports, INOV Inesc Inovação and Tecmic.
